I believe Scentsy is a "green" product!

When I read about "green" products, I believe our Scentsy Wickless Candles fit the category. There are no phthalates, lead, or "volatile organic compounds" in them and they have ZERO carbon emissions. The food-grade, mostly non-essential oils used to form Scentsy Wax Bars release the fragrance into the air at a very low temperature, without burning the wax. Since only the safe fragrance emits FROM the wax, only the fragrance is in the air and the wax stays in the warmer. Scentsy warmers melt the wax over a low watt bulb, so one warmer is used repeatedly. Millions of candles in glass jars are thrown away with unused wax, which is bad for the environment. Scentsy produces their wax in the USA, so other countries cannot introduce harmful chemicals during import. If anyone has not seen Scentsy Candle Warmers, please check out my website, Dollars And Scents, where I explain Scentsy products and business opportunities.

The original “green” blog I was reading today said that “green” is a "frame of mind." Scentsy is also a frame of mind - which is why we call ourselves "Scentaholics!" Scentsy is a quality product that does not hurt family or pets, so we use it daily with smiles on our faces.

  1. I recently got a tip from another Scentsy Consultant about how she disposes of the left-over wax cubes. While our wax containers are recylable, she fills them with the leftover wax (after the fragrance is mostly used up) and takes them camping with her. She said that out in the desert, they make great fire-starters and then the whole thing is burned up in her campfire, plus she said there is the added benefit of having just enough fragrance left in the wax to make it smell good in her campground.

Just as I mentioned above, "green" is a frame of mind and where there's a will to be "green" there is a way.
